Folks almost never think of the above two terms when it comes to long term care. Nursing homes, assisted living, home care, etc. – they all have a fixed price, right? The answer is mostly yes. First, you can always try to cut a bargain. Don’t be afraid to haggle a little to see if you can get a better price. However, that is not what this is about.

Nursing homes charge about $10,000 per month at the retail price. What if you could get that same room for the Medi-Cal (or wholesale) price? It not only is possible; it is done every day. The wholesale price could be ¼ or less than the retail cost. How is that possible?

Assisted living is $6,000 or more per month at retail. What if your net cost was thousands less? That would be the wholesale price and that would be better.

Your choice. Do nothing and pay the full price or do a little planning and pay wholesale. Call or contact me today.
